All areas of development are thoughtfully supported, laying a strong foundation in early literacy, math, problem-solving, social skills, and a healthy sense of self.

At theChapel Academy VPK, we use The Creative Curriculum along with the Florida Early Learning Standards (Birth to Kindergarten) as the foundation of our program. Our teachers enhance these with hands-on, child-centered activities, meaningful experiences, and lessons designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.

We also intentionally integrate faith into our curriculum, helping children grow in God’s truth through daily experiences, Bible-based lessons, and Christ-centered values. Weekly themes are woven throughout activities such as music, movement, art, pretend play, and group learning.

Our goal is for every child to leave our program confident, prepared, and ready for kindergarten—both academically and spiritually grounded.

theChapel Academy offers a fun, engaging environment where your child learns, grows, and builds confidence every day. Through a mix of structured learning and hands-on experiences, we help develop strong academic, social, and spiritual foundations.

Themed Activities

Each month, your child explores a new theme designed to spark curiosity and make learning meaningful. Teachers create hands-on activities, games, and projects that help children connect what they’re learning to the world around them in a fun and engaging way.

Circle Time

Circle Time brings the class together to learn and connect. Children are introduced to letters, sounds, numbers, shapes, and calendar concepts like days, months, and weather. This time also includes age-appropriate Bible lessons that help build a simple and strong spiritual foundation.

Learning Centers

Learning Centers give children the freedom to choose activities based on their interests. Through play, they explore, create, and problem-solve while building important skills. Each center is designed to support growth in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Music & Creative Movement

Children express themselves through music, movement, and creativity. Singing, dancing, using instruments, and acting out stories help build confidence, coordination, and a love for learning in a high-energy and fun environment.

Movement & Motor Skills

Your child will stay active while developing coordination and strength. Activities like running, jumping, cutting, coloring, and hands-on projects help build both gross and fine motor skills in a natural and enjoyable way.

Math & Problem Solving

Math is introduced in a fun and engaging way through games, hands-on materials, and interactive learning. Children explore counting, patterns, sorting, shapes, and early problem-solving skills while building a strong foundation for future learning.

Enrichment & Faith

We intentionally weave faith into everyday moments. Through Bible lessons, prayer, and Christ-centered values, children begin to understand God’s truth in a way that is simple, clear, and meaningful to them.
